Grief doesn't speak in one voice. Sometimes it turns inward. Sometimes it rages outward. Sometimes it doesn't look like grief at all.
 
In this Tales class we read two luminous short books, Green Angel by Alice Hoffman and The Changeling Sea by Patricia McKillip, each following a young woman through the wilderness of loss and back toward the light. Through story, divination, and guided reflection, we explore the many shapes grief takes and what it might be asking of us.
 
Two books. Four sessions. A journey toward healing in its many unexpected forms. Four Spreads to work with. One felt or papercraft project should you want to craft along.
 
Needed:
Green Angel by Alice Hoffman (available in physical, ebook, and audible formats)
The Changeling Sea by Patricia McKillip (available in physical or ebook formats)
Basic felt crafting (9x12 piece of felt, scraps of felt/fabric, embroidery floss, needles, beads and charms if wanted. OR Basic paper crafting (9x12 piece of thicker card stock, scraps of paper, washi tape, stickers, etc.
A deck of tarot or oracle cards.
