5 Weeks, Starts Saturday, July 18, 2026, 11am EST, 3 hours per class, Recorded for Playback

Across centuries, women have quietly shuffled cards at kitchen tables, in ship cabins, in crowded parlors, and darkened seance rooms. Their fortunes rarely made the history books, but their hands moved the cards anyway, from simple playing card lots to Lenormand, Sibilla, tarot, and oracles.

In this 5-week series, The Cartomancers Daybook, we follow those women through time: village healers condemned as witches, bourgeois girls telling "harmless" parlor fortunes, emigrants learning cards at sea, Sibilla readers in gossip-laced towns, and Victorian spiritualist mediums whose practices echo forward into our own work as modern readers.

Each week pairs:
A short slice of historical context about women and cartomancy in that era
Tips on reading that we learn from that era
A woman-centered archetype and themed card spread
A creative practice: collaborative oracle-making or a simple "daybook" journaling challenge, writing in the voice of a woman living with the cards in her own time, or your own project

What is needed:
Some prior experience with tarot or other cartomancy systems is helpful but not required
A deck of cards, system of your choice
Willingness to learn, as this series is designed for spiritually engaged readers who love story, history, and liminal work.

Please make sure you are comfortable with your decision. Due to the fact that you could receive handouts up front and the class is available for playback, there will be no refunds.
